AUTOBIOGRAPHY:

My name is ＯＯＯ-ＯＯＯ, ＯＯＯＯＯ. I am seeking a Purchasing Officer position where my proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure will be of value.

Throughout my youth my parents would not assist me right away when I encountered a problem or challenge, but instead encouraged me to solve the problem on my own. Consequently, I have developed an independent and confident ability to solve problems.

At university I majored in international business at university, where I took courses that included global industrial analysis, international relations and bargaining, and theory of international trade. In my spare time, I enjoyed a variety of extra activities and was the chairman of the university’s Sign Language Club. These activities not only taught me to think and explore the world from different viewpoints, but also to put the knowledge which I learned from books into practice. It helped me to discover self-value and set up the dream of being a professional in the global market.

After doing my military duty, I worked as Management Trainee at ＯＯＯＯＯＯＯ Department Store and was in charge of the electric appliances and fashion departments. Major tasks included managing people working on the floor, ensuring standards for quality were met, doing customer service and meeting health and safety requirements, sourcing and interviewing potential new vendors. Working in the different departments not only broadened the width and depth of my business knowledge, but also enhanced my adaptability and flexibility in diverse working environments.

Acting on my dreams and interests, I joined the cosmetic packing industry as Purchasing and Product officer in 2010. I was responsible for coordinating with vendors, sales representatives and customers, sourcing and updating the procurement database and conducting basic product training. In this position I improved my communication, organizational and time management skills. Sometimes it was difficult to avoid conflict with colleagues. On a few occasions I had to compromise, but most of the time I tried to convince colleagues of our ultimate goal: building customer satisfaction and raising profit margins.

My colleagues have a strong impression of me as always full of passion, enthusiastic, determined and doing my best in everything that I do. My optimistic and open-minded nature, and strong willingness to learn pushes me to face all kind of challenges with confidence.

I wish to apply all that I have learned, as well as my talents and skills, to become a productive employee for your organization. I also wish to keep learning continuously to add to my professional ability and accumulated experience, and to apply all my knowledge and experience to the work that I do. I am confident that I will be an asset to the organization.
