My name is O O. I am a student at O O University, majoring in International Business. I have amassed a large amount of work experience, including work as an insurance sales agent. I usually work at least O part-time jobs at the same time; despite this, I am still able to strike a balance between work and school life. O years ago, I traded in the securities market for my first time. Following that, I went into the futures market. The experience sparked in me a curiosity about the world of finance and macro economics. For this reason, I decided to major in International Business and the course has given me a solid grounding in investment management, futures and options, global mergers and acquisitions, global finance management, to name a few areas. During an internship at OO Life Insurance during my O year at college, I was able to improve my communication skills and understand more about how a financial company works. The experience, also made me more interested in a career in finance. Since then, I have attained several financial licenses. Currently, I am preparing for the qualification exam for senior securities specialist. After this, I will prepare for the CFA examination. During my O year, I decided to study for master degree. My TOEIC score improved almost OOO points, from OOO to OOO in O O year. I plan to reach 100 or even higher in TOEFL this year. I have just completed several graduate school entrance exams and am currently on the admission waiting lists of the Graduate Institute of O at National O O University, National O O-O University, National O O University and National O O University. At school, I have participated in many performances, including as a leader in the street dance club. I also volunteered as a counselor for a freshmen camp-out party.
An excellent, detailed cover letter, well done!
Ensure that you sequence the paragraphs in a logical way. After the initial introductory paragraph, you should move on to detail education and work experience, then finish with personal attributes, hobbies and future goals.
“CFA” — it many not be clear to the reader what this is, therefore you should write the name out in full. Only use abbreviations when the abbreviated form is in common use, e.g. UN for United Nations.
In a Western-style cover letter, there is no need to include information about your family members (e.g. number of sibling) unless it is directly relevant to a point you are trying to make.
