Biography: O O O OOO I am a graduate of O University with a major in O O. I was born in O, and grew up in a happy family with my parents and O older sisters. I like to read, and when I was in junior-high school, I started reading much more widely, especially in the field of social sciences, to expand my knowledge and broaden my horizons. I decided to major in the Department of O, because I am fascinated by the subject matter. While I attended university, I worked as a sales assistant at an LED commercial company. My duties included tracking cargo, managing lead times and liaising with customers, forwarders, etc. Having gained O years’ work experience, I went to O on a working holiday, which gave me a great opportunity to learn to live and work in a foreign country. I worked in the service industry, where I learned many useful social skills from my colleagues. I really enjoyed living in O, which presented me with numerous challenges and equipped me with many new skills. I would describe myself as responsible, positive and patient; I treat all people with sincere kindness, and always strive to do better. I have a positive and responsible work attitude, which I believe will be a benefit in any job I set my mind to. However, I believe my most important attribute is that I have a strong drive to keep learning and improving my knowledge and abilities, which I am eager to apply in a positive manner in a professional capacity. If I am appointed in this position, I would be more than willing to learn to perform additional duties, and to acquire both broader and more specialized knowledge, and I am eager to receive an opportunity to contribute my special skills to your company.
Although it might be acceptable to capitalize your entire name in the title of your biography (“BIOGRAPHY: O O O”), avoid doing so in the body of your biography — so rather use “O O O” or “ O O-O,” which is the standard way of writing names in Taiwan. Of course, it’s your name, so you can decide how to write it in English — as long as you don’t upper-case the whole name.
You can just include your name in the heading of your biography (For example, “Biography: O O O”). That way you do not need to start the biography with “My name is OOO,” which is somewhat unprofessional and wastes space. Remember that the person reading your application is probably busy, so you want to make your biography as short, informative and to the point as possible.
“I grew up in a happiness family” should be “I grew up in a happy family” — you need to use the adjective form of “happiness,” because it describes the word “family.”
“When I was a junior high” should be “When I was in junior-high school.”
It is “an LED company,” not “a LED company,” because “LED” is pronounced “el-ee-dee,” not “led.”
It should be “I went to O on a working holiday,” not “I went O on working holiday.” Also, “I worked in the service industry,” not “I worked in service industry.”
