I like to travel alone. Before I embark on a trip, I find travel information and write down routes, travel times, costs, etc., in order to plan a complete tour. I think these skills make me very suitable for the op/tour agency position. I participated in many activities while studying in university. One of them was hosting orientation events for freshmen. I learned how to plan the flow of activities and make props, and realized that job was demanding and time-consuming. Most importantly, I learned the importance of teamwork. Another activity I took part in was welcoming Japanese students. During those activities, my interactions with them through speech and body language was entertaining. This allowed me to learn how to plan the flow of activities, and the scheduling of personal and financial planning, etc. I also received many licenses under my instructor’s guidance. It was a very colorful four years. I worked as a waitress in my first job. The experiences I gained in this position allowed me to learn how to communicate with people, deal with my manager and get along with my colleagues. I understood the spirit and dedication needed to succeed in the service industry. After that, I worked in Japan for one month. I was responsible for confirming class contents, student information and greeting the students at the airport. I was satisfied with the position and increased my knowledge in a span of one month. I have always wanted to work in the service industry. I have great people skills; I am an attentive listener and I am able to provide useful help. I also aim to continue to further my knowledge and professional skills in this industry.
