國外業務
1~5年經驗/大學/中國語文學類
My name is OO. I am a graduate of OO University with a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Literature. I have experience in project management, sales and administration. After graduating I wanted to improve my language skills, so I went to Canada for O years to improve my English. I have been employed as a sales development assistant at OO OO Company for the last O years, assisting sales representatives with purchase orders and exporting and importing merchandise. I have also translated English documentation into Mandarin Chinese and taken care of administrative affairs. Occasionally, I was tasked with assisting overseas exhibitions. In addition I was seconded to assist the company’s marketing and planning department, which involved providing support to advertising campaigns, collecting and analysing surveys, following up the project plan and reporting to the supervisor. I believe that my previous experience stands me in good stead for this position. I am a strong coordinator, since my current position involves having to negotiate with factories and customers to assistant our team and deal with unexpected situations. In addition to my communication skills, I am a good team player and possess the ability to multi-task. My English skills also help to facilitate effective communication in the workplace. I am looking for an opportunity that will allow me to make a contribution and develop myself further so that I can keep pace with the changing demands of my profession.
A very good cover letter!
A couple of tips:
Make sure you always include the full title of your degree, rather than just writing “majored in…”.
Make sure you write Mandarin Chinese rather than just “Mandarin” on the first mention to avoid confusion.
If possible, try to tailor your personal statement to the company you are applying for, perhaps saying what it is that attracted you to apply for a position at their company. Try to show that you understand something about their organisation and let them know that it is not a generic resume.
