My name is OO O. I graduated from OO O University of O in 20XX with a major in Foreign Language Instruction. During my time at university, I wrote many reports and participated in lots of practical training as well as volunteering as a teaching assistant for the elementary English summer camp. I found these experiences were highly rewarding because I not only learnt how to work with others in a group but also learnt how to help others to complete tasks successfully. After graduating, I have put into practice the teaching techniques I learnt at college as a daycare teacher and full-time English teacher. I have learnt a lot of valuable techniques and gained I great deal of experience when doing these jobs, including building patience, perception and adaptability while teaching my students or providing a service to their parents. Additionally, I have also learnt how to design attractive documents and coordinate activities, when the cram school needed help to plan activities. I believe everyone's potential is boundless and we should not limit ourselves to familiar fields. Thus, in order to broaden my skill set, I have also been working as a foreign sales assistant for the past two years. My daily routine as a foreign sales assistant includes supporting sales and marketing managers to ensure a smooth sales process as well as communicating with customers to solve problems and address their needs in a timely fashion. I am always guided by a sense of caution and responsibility in my role as a sales assistant. As such, I have gained recognition and encouragement from customers and management. I believe I can definitely apply this kind of proactive attitude that I have learned from my former jobs to face any new challenges in the future. Although my work experience means that I am comfortable dealing with emails from customers and having sales conversations in English, I am still committed to further enhancing and developing my English skills. I am also looking for an opportunity to strengthen my professional knowledge and skills in the fields of international trade and sales management. I sincerely hope that I can have the opportunity to work for your company. If I can have the chance to attend an interview, I will do my best to work as hard as I can. It is very well written personal statement — good job!
It is a good idea to include the year in which you graduated in order to provide a reference to the reader.
The general structure of your personal statement is very good; the only areas that needed attending to tidying up the grammar and improving fluency.
One important omission: try to tailor your personal statement to the company you are applying for, perhaps saying what it is that attracted you to apply for a position at their company.
Try to show an understanding of their organisation in order to let them know that it is not just a generic resume and to demonstrate that you are genuinely interested in their company.
