My family members consist of father, mother, younger brother and grandparents. Both of my parents are involved with financial business. My brother is five years younger than me. Because of this, my parents trained me to be a responsible and independent sister since I was child. I am an optimistic and positive person. I have gained a lot of social experience through part-time work while studying. I graduated from O O University and majored in Applied Foreign Language. My favorite classes are public speaking and international cultures. Except my major, I also took some courses such as marketing and finance from other departments as I didn’t want to waste my college tuition. Because I went to night school when I was in high school, I have always needed to make an effort to balance my job with my studies. Although it was difficult, I learned to be professional and how to deal with high pressure. In high school, I was class leader for four years and was elected vice president of the Class Leaders’ Association during my second year. I learned how to communicate with people in a confident and relaxed way from in high school. In addition, I am good at coming up with new ideas and organizing activities. During university, I was a social coordinator, a graduation representative and a public relations rep for a rock music club. I increased my personal connections and dealt with a wide variety of problems by joining social clubs and participating in seminars. Because I studied at night school, my first job was in an accounting office as an assistant for three years when I was only 16. This job gave me a good foundation in accounting. I have also worked as a waitress, clerk and a salesperson. These experiences in the services industry taught me how to communicate with different kinds of customers. Those were valuable experiences for me in building up my career. “People strive to achieve their dreams.” This is my motto. I am always striving to learn new things. I am an enthusiastic employee, and willing to take on any challenges. I want to increase profits for any company I work for company and develop my potential. Thank you for taking the time to read my autobiography.
’s resume needs a lot of work. Obviously, she doesn’t have a lot of experience in the work environment, but that makes it even more necessary for her to write about her goals and to summarize her skills right at the beginning of the resume. The potential employer wants to know why he should hire this person, not read a list of things she has done for the past few years. Allison should focus on how her skills could be useful to the company. For instance, she has sales experience and she is an outgoing person. She could focus on this when summarizing herself for an application she intends to give to a sales company. She also has accounting experience, which is good if she ever plans to apply for a job that might need these skills.
The format of the resume needs to look nice as well. If the employer just sees a bunch of words spilled across the page, he will not read it. The resume needs to look appealing and have some design flair in it.
As for the autobiography, I’m sorry to say, but the employer does not care about O’s mother or father, and is not very interested in her high school experiences. He wants to know how those experiences prepared her to help his company make money. He wants to know the bottom line – what can you do for me? O’s resume needs a lot of work. Everything she writes in the autobiography needs to be geared toward convincing the employer that she can do a good job. So, she should talk more about what she learned in her sales and accounting jobs, and what her goals are.
